Only one block to the beach and yet right in the center of the historic district, the Abigail Adams’ Apartments offer charming, friendly accommodations at reasonable prices. They are furnished in bright and breezy colors with new kitchens and baths, and afford you a comfortable and convenient little corner of Cape May from which to explore our beautiful town.
Grab a beach chair and a good book and a short walk down Decatur Street takes you to the nicest beaches in town. After a full day at the beach enjoy a wonderful dinner at one of our many fine restaurants... from family style to asian fusion, from white tablecloths and fine crystal to boiled shrimp and beer, Cape May has it all! Park your car in our convenient lot and then everything is within easy walking distance. Bring your bicycles or rent one and take a ride out to our famous bird observatory at the Point or have lunch at Sunset Beach and watch the dolphins play in the surf. These two lovely apartments are nestled at the back of the historic James Leaming House on Decatur Street, one of the prettiest streets in Cape May. They overlook our private flower garden with its cozy benches and picnic table great for either curling up with a good book or having a barbecue with your family and friends. The Garden Apartment, on the first floor, has one bedroom with a queen bed, a living room with a double sofabed and a new full galley style kitchen and bath with shower. The Leaming Suite, on the second floor, has one bedroom/sitting room with a queen bed and a double sofabed, a newly restored tile bath and a eat-in cozy kitchen. Both apartments are air-conditioned, have cable TV and DVD’s, free wireless internet access and fully equipped kitchens with stoves, microwaves, dishwashers, refrigerators and everything you need to enjoy a vacation at the shore.
